“Gary Welch followed through on his dream and established the chain reaction breakfast prayer breakfast which featured Darrell Scott, father of Rachel Scott. Gary heard Darrell speak at the Atlanta Real Estate Prayer Breakfast in February (2005) and was convicted that parents, teachers and students needed to hear this message of compassion that Rachel stood for in her short live. The logistics of such an endeavor required enormous vision and Gary was the man who set in motion a December event that would draw over 1000 people and sell out every table. You can tell the influence of a man by the people he can draw to a cause. From the fist moment Gary felt the burden to make a difference rather than just think about making a difference and he managed to get others to see what he could see, a life-changing event. All of us are busy, but we should never be too busy to make a difference in out world. Gary too the time and only time will tell us how much this “Chain Reaction” will mean to the lives of others."
